Netflix announces the release of “En nombre de otro”
Netflix has announced that En nombre de otro, the new thriller directed by Oriol Paulo and co-written by Paulo and Guillem Clua, will premiere worldwide on the platform on 11 December 2026.
The film stars Eduard Fernández, Mario Casas, Blanca Suárez, Nicolás Francella and Alexandra Jiménez. It is produced by Juanita Films and was filmed in several locations across Catalonia.
The story begins on Christmas Eve morning, when a man walks into a police station and confesses to killing two people… or perhaps three. But behind his confession lies an even harder question: why has he chosen to turn himself in now, and what is he trying to achieve? His account soon becomes connected to another crime that appeared to have been solved.
The announcement also highlights Guillem Clua’s participation as co-writer alongside Oriol Paulo, marking a new international film project for the playwright and screenwriter.
