The romantic comedy by Guillem Clua continues its international journey with two new productions.

In São Paulo, the new Brazilian production of Smiley ran at Teatro Ruth Escobar from 1 to 30 September, directed by Mau Alves and starring Conrado Helt, Mau Alves and Lurryan. In Querétaro, the Mexican production is being staged at El Sótano Teatro, with Daniel Cruz as Álex and Fernando Rabell as Bruno, directed by Rabell himself. The production is led by Ricardo Villalobos.

The play now arrives in Paris with a new French production opening on 12 November at À La Folie Théâtre, where it will run until 30 January 2027. Performances will take place from Thursday to Saturday at 9:30 pm, with Nicolas Desnoues and Pascal Seguin in the leading roles.

Since its premiere in Barcelona, Smiley has become one of Guillem Clua’s most internationally acclaimed plays and has been performed in numerous countries. The story of Álex and Bruno continues to connect with audiences around the world through its humour, tenderness and fresh look at contemporary relationships.
