Jordi Bosch wins a Premi Butaca for ‘Mort d’un comediant’

Jordi Bosch has won the Premi Butaca for Best Actor for his leading role in Mort d’un comediant, which premiered last season at Teatre Romea. It is the fourth time the actor has received the award, after Tots eren fills meus (2023) and Dissabte, diumenge, dilluns (2003) in theatre categories, and El perquè de tot plegat (1995) in film. The actor, warmly applauded, went up on stage visibly moved to thank everyone for an award that consolidates a career of excellence and commitment to theatre. Bosch prevailed over Albert Salazar and Carlos Cuelvas (L’herència), Guillem Balart (Tots ocells), Joan Carreras (El cor dels amants) and Nil Cardoner (La gavina). The gala, held as usual in Premià de Mar on 17 November, crowned the TNC musical Ànima and the Teatre Lliure production L’herència, directed by Josep Maria Mestres, as the night’s big winners.
